The Michael Friel State Farm Agency is seeking an experienced, licensed Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is designed for a service-driven professional with prior State Farm experience who excels at supporting existing clients while confidently identifying in-book sales opportunities when appropriate.
This position is ideal for someone who values accuracy, follow-through, and relationship building, and understands that exceptional service naturally leads to meaningful coverage conversations. You will play a key role in supporting policyholders, strengthening retention, and contributing to agency growth.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients, delivering prompt and professional service
- Answer policy questions and clearly explain coverage, billing, and account details
- Assist with policy changes, updates, renewals, and service requests
- Support clients through the claims process and follow up as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all customer interactions
- Conduct policy reviews and identify in-book sales opportunities that align with client needs
- Collaborate remotely with the agency team to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience
What We’re Looking For
- Active Property & Casualty license required (Life & Health preferred)
- Prior State Farm agency experience required
- Strong customer service and relationship-management skills
- Ability to pivot from service to sales in a natural, needs-based manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple accounts remotely
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated work style
